Since October 7, 2023, we have heard the officials of the Biden Administration say that the commitment to Israel is “ironclad.” We have heard from the Secretary of Defense … In a May 5th readout of Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III's Call with Israeli Minister of Defense Yoav Gallant that said, in part: Secretary Austin reiterated the United States' commitment to supporting Israel's defense. In an October 13th meeting in Tel Aviv, Austin also met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and members of the Israeli War Cabinet to convey the United States' "ironclad" support for Israel …

On April 14, 2024, Anthoney Blinken, the Secretary of State, is quoted in the Times of Israel: Blinken tweets a similar message to that put forth by other senior members of the Biden administration, saying that the US commitment to Israel’s security is “ironclad.” The Hill reported: Biden marks Passover with statement of ‘ironclad’ support for Israel.

So the message is clear and unambiguous – The United States support for Israel is ironclad – or is it? In a CNN interview on May 8th, Biden reversed course announcing that the he will not deliver the 2000-pound precision guided bombs that are needed by Israel to root out the remaining four battalions of Hamas in Rafah! This is not a new tactic by Joe Biden. We can look back to June of 1982, Joe Biden was a Senator from Delaware when he threatened to deny aid to Israel. Here is what happened: On June 22 1982, Joe Biden was a Senator from Delaware and confronted then Israeli Prime Minister Menachem Begin during his Senate Foreign Relations committee testimony, threatening to cut off aid to Israel …

Menachem Begin replied: “Don’t threaten us with cutting off your aid. It will not work. I am not a Jew with trembling knees. I am a proud Jew with 3,700 years of civilized history. Nobody came to our aid when we were dying in the gas chambers and ovens. Nobody came to our aid when we were striving to create our country. We paid for it. We fought for it. We died for it. We will stand by our principles. We will defend them. And, when necessary, we will die for them again, with or without your aid.”
What America needs to know going into a Presidential election – Joe Biden, the Democrat nominee who is seeking another four years in the White House, is an unreliable ally. There is no other way to say it. When you tell the American public that support for Israel is ironclad and then you pull the plug on that support, you are clearly demonstrating you are unreliable and cannot be trusted to keep your word as the leader of the free world. It can only be concluded that Biden is giving in to the mobs who have invaded our university campuses with their chants and flags.
In response. Benjamin Netanyahu provided the following on FOX News: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu released a video message on Thursday vowing that Israel "will stand alone" to defeat Hamas, if necessary, after President Biden threatened to withhold weapon shipments to the Jewish State should Netanyahu proceed with an invasion of Rafah.
Netanyahu echoed the 1948 Israeli war of independence in his remarks, saying that despite a weapons embargo on Israel, Israelis had fought and defeated the Arab nations who attacked the nascent Jewish state, thanks to their bravery and unity.
"Today, we are much stronger," the prime minister said. "We are determined, and we are united in order to defeat our enemies and those who want to destroy us." Biden’s withholding this ammunition from Israel is being done for domestic political gain. It sets a precedent that American foreign policy can be changed by rioting in the street and the potential loss of a voting bloc.
The President must project strength and part of that projection must be ironclad support to US Allies and consistent messaging of deterrence to those who threaten the US and those Allies.
We must make a change in November – the survival of the Republic depends on it.
I am a JESUS CHRIST loving American, whose God is ABRAHAM,s GOD. I have heard from the likes of old JOE Biden for more than 35-40 yrs, HE has aways been a blowhard who has NO credibility. His words mean nothing. That is the reason, I voted for Donald TRUMP. God Bless America!
