The bad news just keeps coming from the Biden Administration. It’s not enough that our National Sovereignty is being violated daily at the southern border … now we receive word that the Biden Administration has been in negotiations to turn over the US Health Care System to the World Health Organization – WHO.
You know --- that stellar organization led by a man who is not even a doctor that told us the COVID virus was not very transmissible. That the virus came from a bat or a “wet-market” and not from a lab in China.
Told the entire world what a great response China had for the virus. And when called on to have an investigation, he put the man most responsible for the gain of function research in charge --- who essentially found nothing wrong and held no one accountable.
One million American deaths to the COVID virus later, we are now preparing to turn over the US Health Care System to the bureaucrats from the WHO. The Biden Administration has secretly negotiated a formal treaty to make this a reality --- and every American should be frightened by what this portends for their personal medical care. No one in America was asked if this was necessary or if we needed to have an outside agency manage our health care system – NO – Joe Biden and his administration decided for us … secretly.
In an article written by Peter Breggin MD and Ginger Ross Breggin, and published May 4, 2022, we learn that … On January 18, 2022, with no public awareness, officials from the Biden Administration sent the World Health Organization these extensive amendments to strengthen WHO’s ability to unilaterally intervene into the affairs of nations merely suspected of having a “health emergency” of possible concern to other nations. The U.S. amendments cross out a critical existing restriction in the regulations: “WHO shall consult with and attempt to obtain verification from the State Party in whose territory the event is allegedly occurring…” By eliminating that, and other clauses, all the shackles will be removed from the Director-General of WHO, enabling him to declare health emergencies at will.
They go on to tell us that … On May 22-28, 2022, ultimate control over America’s healthcare system, and hence its national sovereignty, will be delivered for a vote to the World Health Organization’s governing legislative body, the World Health Assembly (WHA).
This threat is contained in new amendments to WHO’s International Health Regulations, proposed by the Biden administration, that are scheduled as “Provisional agenda item 16.2” at the upcoming conference on May 22-28, 2022.
These amendments will empower WHO’s Director-General to declare health emergencies or crises in any nation and to do so unilaterally and against the opposition of the target nation. The Director-General will be able to declare these health crises based merely on his personal opinion or consideration that there is a potential or possible threat to other nations.
If passed, the Biden Administration’s proposed amendments will, by their very existence and their intention, drastically compromise the independence and the sovereignty of the United States. The same threat looms over all the U.N.’s 193 member nations, all of whom belong to WHO and represent 99.44% of the world population.
These regulations are a “binding instrument of international law entered into force on 15 June 2007.” U.N. member states can be required by law to obey or acquiesce to them. According to the Forward to WHO’s regulations, there is no specific limit to what constitutes a health emergency, and it is certainly not limited to pandemics. WHO’s domain includes: a scope not limited to any specific disease or manner of transmission, but covering “illness or medical condition, irrespective of origin or source, that presents or could present significant harm to humans…”
Think about what is being proposed here --- WHO can decide, at any time, to declare a pandemic in the United States and the US health authorities must comply. Never, in the history of the United States of America, has our government entrusted the safety and security of the American people to another --- but Joe Biden is about to do just that.
The sweeping new powers will be invested in the Director-General of WHO to act on his own. The Director-General is Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, commonly known as Tedros. Tedros, the first non-physician director-general of WHO, is an extremely controversial Marxist activist and politician from Ethiopia installed by the Chinese Communist Party. Despite the fact that his role as the cover-up apologist for the Chinese Communists at the onset of COVID-19, this “dear friend of Anthony Fauci” …
…was re-elected without opposition in 2022 to a second five-year term. His original election in 2017, followed by his re-election without opposition in 2022, is an ominous display of Chinese Communist influence over WHO, which makes further empowering the U.N. agency extremely dangerous.
This is a very serious matter and if you have not been made aware of it until now, know that we are about to be sold down the river when it comes to health care in America and Joe Biden is the man who is doing it. Thank you for contacting me about the United States' proposed amendments to the International Health Regulations (IHR). I appreciate your thoughts on this issue and welcome the opportunity to respond.
The World Health Organization (WHO) embarrassed itself in the wake of COVID-19. They cozied up to China and fell for China's lie that COVID-19 was a myth while the virus continued to spread. If the WHO had taken the virus seriously earlier, lives could have been saved. Candidly, I do not think the United States should contribute a dime to its budget.
I reject all types of international law, including the IHR. The United States is a sovereign nation whose citizens must decide for themselves the laws that bind them. Any bill that comes before Congress that shifts power from American citizens to unelected globalist foreigners is one that is dead on arrival for me. Moreover, the United States alone should have the power to declare state of emergencies, not an incompetent international body. In fact, I introduced a bill that passed the Senate that would end the national emergency that the Biden administration refuses to terminate, despite much of the country reopening and moving on. The pandemic should no longer be used as an excuse to seize unlawful and unnecessary executive power.
