This is the chant that one can clearly hear as the speaker tells his audience that the system is rotten and needs to be replaced with Sharia. For those who may not know what the term sharia means … The term sharia refers to a set of Islamic religious law that governs aspects of day-to-day life for Muslims in addition to religious rituals. Sharia law also provides religious followers with a set of principles and guidelines to help them make important decisions in their lives, such as finances and investments.
And over the voice of the speaker, yet again, we hear the cry “DEATH TO AMERICA”. So clearly, it must be Friday after prayers in locations around the Iranian capital, Tehran, where the cries … “DEATH TO AMERICA” … “DEATH TO THE BIG SATAN” … “DEATH TO ISRAEL” … “DEATH TO THE LITTLE SATAN” are a weekly event.
Unfortunately, you could not be more wrong! This despicable display took place in Dearborn, Michigan, directly in front of the Henry Ford Centennial Library on Michigan Avenue on the 8th of April 2024.
Here is how Dave Spencer of FOX 2 Detroit and FOX 2 Staff reported it: Portions of a rally taking place in Dearborn are now making national headlines for chants of "death to America" and "death to Israel," made by attendees. The hour-long rally was held in support of Palestine on Friday, in front of the Henry Ford Centennial Library on Michigan Avenue. During parts of the event, crowds began chanting anti-America and anti-Israel statements, which were captured and shared on social media by the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI). Now, there is growing concern that such extreme ideologies may be gaining momentum amid the ongoing war in Gaza.
This spectacle took place as an activist spoke about bringing down “the entire system of the United States”. The Times of Israel reported that the: speakers Tarek Bazzi and Michigan Imam Usama Abdulghani, associated with the Hadi Institute, a Muslim community center in the city, compared Israel to “Nazis” and the Islamic State, while praising Iran’s former supreme leader and leader of the 1979 Islamic Revolution, Ruhollah Khomeini, at the event marking Quds Day, when Tehran and its allies stage marches in support of the Palestinians.
At the end of his speech, Bazzi encourages a child to lead chants of “Free Palestine” and “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free,” which are viewed by many as a call to eliminate the Jewish state and replace it with a Palestinian state.
This display of hatred should be of concern to all Americans no matter what their background, ethnicity or religious beliefs. Of course, there was the usual round of apologies from the Mayor of Dearborn and the Chairman of the Michigan Muslim Community Council and of course, the apologist for the Jewish community, the Executive Director of the Jewish Community Relations Council. I, for one, can no longer accept these apologies. I have listened to the words --- and the words are TREASON! I understand and support the First Amendment and the concept of free speech. I also understand that it is commonly understood that you cannot yell “Fire!” in a crowded theater.
The phrase "you can't yell ‘fire’ in a crowded theater" is often used as an example of the limits to free speech. It comes from a US Supreme Court case in 1919, Schenck v. United States, where it was ruled that speech that presents a "clear and present danger" is not protected by the First Amendment.
Now, I submit that the words spoken by those who would advocate for replacing our form of government with Sharia because our government and society, in their view, is rotten --- well, these words present a clear and present danger to our country. When you are told that someone wants to replace the Constitution of the United States with Religious Law, it is time to start believing them! If they are not believed and stopped, they will do exactly what they said they were going to do, and you and I will wake up one morning to the sound of the Imam calling us to morning prayers from the minarets in our neighborhoods.
If you don’t think that can happen, then you need to study the case of Hamtramck, Michigan. Located about five miles north of Detroit, Hamtramck has a population of about 28,000 and is the most densely populated municipality in the state. In 2022, it became the first American city to have an all-Muslim government.
Hamtramck, which was once an enclave of Polish immigrants, is now a place where it is believed that Sharia supersedes the Constitution as the way to establish law and order.
These Anti-American people are on a serious crusade. They have infiltrated the United States Congress by successfully using our own laws to get there.
What they speak is treason in the classical sense. It is the crime of betraying one's country, typically by attempting to overthrow the government or by collaborating with an enemy during wartime --- that’s treason. They say they want to replace our form of government and we are certainly enmeshed in war … if not directly, then by proxy.
Joe Biden is worried that he will lose this voting block in November because of his early stand to support Israel in their war against Hamas. But Sleepy Joe has allowed the radicals to sway his judgement toward Israel as he sounds more belligerent to their cause almost daily. So now we must ask – Where is the FBI? Why are they not responding to such overt threats to our nation? I suspect that they are busy rounding up “grandma’s” who stepped into the Capitol on Jan 6 - three years ago!
In closing, let me be clear – I am not anti-Muslim, but I am America First! If we don’t work to oust this Administration, our country, as we know it, will continue to disappear – right before our eyes. I can see it and you see it to – and sometimes I wonder – did the Romans see it coming?
